MENTAL HEALTH
Our Health and Wellbeing support worker Mel is able to provide support to residents of LS12, with referrals to relevant organisations and groups. We offer a range of groups that are centred around improving your mental health, in a relaxed and community based setting.

New Wortley Community Centre offers a safe space for you to come and talk with our staff about any worries, or queries you have, or even if you just fancy a chat! We work with those who are experiencing mild to moderate mental health needs and we tailor our support to the individual wellbeing needs of each person.

Connect is a survivor-led telephone helpline for people in Leeds. It offers emotional support and information to those in distress.
Lines are open 18:00 - 02:00.
The Leeds Crisis Assessment Service is a city-wide acute mental health service. It offers assessments to those in a crisis. The service is based at the Beckin Centre and all referrals for this service should go through the Single Point of Access Team
